Brainstorming
This brainstorming program was a lot of fun to design and create surprisingly. Doing this virtually made it easier to navigate through all of aspects and ideas that I had in my mind for creating a Facebook page for Hollywood Tan. Laying out my ideas like this kind of took me through a step-by-step process so that there was nothing I missed. The program was like a to do list that I was able to check things off in my mind as I added it to the list. Figuring out ways to add and delete bubbles was simple to figure out which is another great design aspect of the program. It was sometimes hard adding another bubble or editing a bubble but overall it was a great deal of fun.

Share some advice on what kinds of posts you might make on your organization's website. Should you post mini-advertisements? Photos? Quizzes? What works? Share your own gut feelings, or do a little bit of research.
Advice by: Garrett Smith
When posting for an organization on a Facebook page you should focus on the main purpose of the company whether it be a product or service. Providing images of products, service, previous work, the location, the building, etc. will help the customer, or potential customer, get a better understanding of what you are trying to sell to them or offer them. By also providing a picture of the building and location, this will help the customer know where to locate your company in case they decide to follow up on anything. I feel that leaving the door open for customers to write their thoughts on your company will leave space for any potential questions, feedback, or solutions related to your business. I think that sending out notifications over Facebook will let customers know of any specials, grand openings, or new products that they may not be aware of even if they come in. Facebook is a good way to relay information to customers and also get their feedback.

When creating a Facebook page for an organization one should focus on the main target of why they are creating the page in the first place. This page can be created by anyone who has a Facebook login but can then be managed or administered by others workers/co-workers. Since this is a page for an organization, it should be professionally done as to represent the image of what your business is trying to portray itself as. These other people will be able to then help add or change material such as services, prices, hours, etc.

Mashup Reflection
The mashup work did allow me to use my creative ability to create a visual presentation of a hobby that I am interested in. Being able to add images and videos on a grid to my liking made this assignment enjoyable. I found it nice being able to create this collage of something that I enjoy doing every summer. Wakeboarding is a strong passion of mine, so being able to create something fun and appealing like this was worth the time. The advantages of a mashup compared to a written story is that it provides the viewer with more of a visual aspect. The disadvantage of of a mashup is that it does not give the reader/viewer a story line or setting like a story can. I found Datamasher to be a good way to show meaningful information in an easy to read manner. This program was fun to explore around on and see the different facts and ranks of individual states in a variety of categories.

Web 2.0
Web 2.0
b.) What interests me the most about Web 2.0 is how vast it is and the accessibility of getting it. The web is expanding at a rapid pace everyday and is not going to slow down anytime soon. Along with the amount of information being posted, talked about, and created is the idea of how people are able to access the information from the web. Also, the way people are able to now interact with the web is amazing. There is a countless number of games, blogs, businesses, designs, and utilities that are offered by the web today. This type of technology is what amazes me the most about Web 2.0.
